Traditional Gift's and why? the Tiara - classically denotes a "Princess" before the sight of God, and the world, a triumph over childhood and strength to face the future. It also represents her victory in trying to live a Christian life. a Bracelet, or Ring, the unending circle of life, and the emergence of the young woman's abilities to contribute to society... Earrings - A reminder to always listen to the word of God, and hear and respond to the world around her. Cross or Medallion, Signifies faith in God, herself and her world. The Quinceañera is placed under the protection of the Saint. Bible, or Prayer Book & Rosary- is a gift given by the Padrino's to keep the word of God in her life always.
	Court- la Quinceañera court is usually made up of 14 Damas and 14 Chambelane's whom escort the damas. Each of the damas represent one year of her life, and she the 15th year. The Quinceañera is usually attired in a ball gown, while the court is dressed in simpler gowns and tuxedos. (Most regular chambelane's in black and the Galen Chambelane, or Quinceañera Chambelane in white or black. The court usually performs a choreographed waltz, or other dance.
